Dell finally launched the Latitude XT3 convertible business-class laptop with a 13.3-inch touch display. The XT3 has a very attractive design and the screen is a 13.3-inch HD resolution LCD that has good screen quality and wider viewing angles. The Dell Latitude XT3 can also be fitted with an optional screen that allows it to be read in direct sunlight.
The Dell Latitude XT3 laptop comes with a choice of Windows 7 versions and up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM. Inside is a 250GB or 320GB hard drive that optionally can be upgraded to a 256GB solid state disk (SSD) drive. Dell quotes battery life of up to 8 hours with recharge of 80 per cent in one hour using ‘Expresscharge’.
Onboard there is Intel HD Graphics 3000 video card. The Dell Latitude XT3 is 30.9mm thick and weighs just over 2kg. Connectivity includes three USB ports, HDMI, WiFi, Ethernet and optional Bluetooth.
The Dell Latitude XT3 can be ordered now via the Dell online store. However, the preliminary ship date is September 22.
